Fantastic Blues from Full Fat

It was always going to be a good gig - the boys from independent Aberdeen studio D-Range just don't put on any other kind. So it was no surprise that they pulled in Full Fat to serve up some of their sweet alt-blues.
When Full Fat took to the stage they looked every bit as chilled and confident as the groove that they settled into right from the start. Fraser McKain was on vocals and guitar and sported a hawaiian shirt that defied the realities of the outside world, and welcomed the audience into their bubble, to join Fraser Urquhart on bass and Simon Rattray on drums.
The groove that Full Fat laid down was easy to be pulled into, with tight hooks and pulsating rhythm from the guitars, along with some vibrant vocals in the old-timey tradition that captivated the crowd. Every head was nodding and everybody's feet tapping, with wry smiles all around.
This trio have a reputation for delivering first class alt-blue every time they play, which has earned them loyal fans as well as recognition from local music awards. They deliver - go and see them!
